Morgans Horticultural Services is happy to provide additional fungicide applications.

Turf disease can be a recurring problem because it is an exception to the rule.  For turf disease and fungus to occur a pathogen in the soil has to be present.  This pathogen can not be eliminated only the symptoms can be treated.  Symptoms can also be prevented by manipulating the conditions that promote disease development.

Excess moisture often promotes disease development.  Proper irrigation management can reduce symptoms of disease and fungus in turf grasses.  When paired with additional fungicide applications turf disease and fungus can be managed to an acceptable level in most cases.

Whether its brown patch disease promoted by the cooler temperatures in Fall, Winter, and Spring or Grey Leaf Spot disease promoted in the rainy summer months we can help you manage disease and fungus flare ups.

In most cases 3 fungicide applications are suggested over a 3-6 week period for best results.  It is also important to reduce irrigation in efforts to manage disease or fungus issues in the lawn.  In some cases irrigation systems will need manipulation to reduce moisture levels to shady or low lying areas that are being effected.

2 applications are suggested and included up to 5,000 square feet per application.
